Clinical Exam Prep Program Overview
Instructor-Led Classes & Test Prep for the Clinical Exam
If you are an ASN candidate and the Clinical Exam is in your future, we don’t have to explain how important it is to PASS your clinical exam the first time through. There is no substitute for effective preparation! When properly prepared, you will gain confidence & reduce stress.
How it works
The 3.5 Day Intensive Clinical Exam Prep is offered at our Fort Lauderdale, Florida facility. You should arrive on Sunday and be ready to go Monday morning. Training and review will begin at 9 am Monday and will end at 1 pm Thursday afternoon.
You will learn the necessary details to successfully pass the Clinical Exam from instructors who are experienced Registered Nurses. Your time will be divided between lecture and hands-on training. At various stations you will practice sterile dressing change, IV piggyback, IV push and injections. You will review the basics of writing care plans, and you will work within a mock patient care situation for adult and pediatric patients.
When you leave the Clinical Exam Prep program after only 3.5 days, you will be fully prepared to challenge your Clinical Exam at the end of your nursing program, armed with the knowledge and the confidence that comes from successfully completing each task using techniques acceptable to the college in which you will enroll.
Should you attend the full 3.5 day test preparation cycle and complete all stations successfully, but fail to pass the Clinical Exam at the end of your nursing program, you are entitled to one additional full 3.5 day rotation absolutely free of charge (clients are responsible for all travel related expense).
